More than we hoped for

First off, the house was absolutely incredible. It was more than we hoped for, and a highlight of our stay in Kyoto. Thank you so much for preparing the home for us, it was perfect.

It exceeded everyone’s expectation
My family and I stayed at the Tofukuji Samurai Machiya for 4 nights and it exceeded everyone’s expectation. The house is beautiful, stylish, clean and spacious. The location is great, only few minutes from the subway station and bus stop(this is very important in kyoto). Akiko was very helpful, both before we arrived and while we were there. Wish We could go back someday!!

Heating system in every room, including shower room!

The location is great, bus stop was real close and only few minutes to get to Kyoto station. The house was super comfortable! Everything was there to feel like at home. Heating system in every room, including shower room! Japanese traditional style beautifully collaborated with modern touch and electronics made the house even nicer. If you are travelling with more than 3 people, I would really suggest staying here.

Akiko-san begrüßte uns persönlich. Sie ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Ruhige Lage und trotz verstecktem Zugang sowohl von den Taxifahrern als auch dem Kofferservice gefunden. Sehr brauchbare Hinweise zur Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem schön eingerichteten und sauberen Haus.
