As our architect and friend, Mr. Y participated to this year marathon, we decided to go to support him. The meeting spot (with other friends) was set at kilometer 30 along the Kamogawa river. It was slightly raining as we arrived around noon near the designated spot. People were lined up and cheering at the runners.
Our friend soon appeared, physically marked by the 30 kilometers he just ran, but cheerful and on the way to the finish line and a personal record!
Over 15,000 participants! Congratulation to all women, men, old, young, for your determination and courage!
